Part of the World’s Fair in 1998 Lisbon Portugal, this project was an exterior landscaped public space with exhibition spaces having water as its theme. The architectural parti, finding inspiration in the rich Portuguese garden tradition of multiple textures, colours, paving, trees and plantings, is the juxtaposition of modernity and nature. The hard lines of metal planes of bridges and towers are contrasted with the sensuousness of water, in a display of sounds, colours with fountains, cascades, curtains, mists, and jets of water.
